Joonhyung Shin (신준형)

Hi! I am Joon, currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Statistics, University of Chicago. My advisor is Frederic Koehler. I received my undergraduate degrees in mathematics and computer science at KAIST.

I am generally interested in the mathematical foundation of data science and machine learning. Recently, I’ve been spending most of my research time thinking about problems with computational-statistical gaps.
